2010 Corvette Sailboat Rendezvous

Welcome to the 2010 Corvette Rendezvous to be held at the Prince Edward Yacht Club. The Club and the Corvette Executive are excited to have the event. If you have not been to the Picton area, you are to be treated with some of the best sailing area along the North Shore.

Something different will occur this year as the Alberg Association will also be holding a rendezvous of their own at the same time. This will give you the opportunity to view another boat of the same vintage built to the CCA Rule.

If you are planning on coming, we are asking you to confirm your attendance (with or without your boat) before June 30, 2010 so the docks can be properly allocated. Send your confirmation to:

Friday - July 31, 2010

Arrival at PEYC - Registration
There will be a $40 charge is for all visiting boats and that covers the dockage fee for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
1700 hours - Reception and cheese tray
Mingle with PEYC Club members and the Alberg Owners inside the Club
- Name tags will be provided
Dinner at the docks - Pizza and wings - nominal charge per slice

Saturday - Aug 1, 2010

0900 Coffee and pastries in the Chartroom
1000 Courtesy of the Alberg Owners
Nye Marine will give a presentation on boat repair and maintenance
1300 Skippers meeting
1400 Group Sail - to mid channel marked and back.
If wind is good, we will do an extra leg - Separate Start for each fleet.
1730 Cocktail hour in the Club
1830 BBQ at Club with Alberg Owners

Sunday - Aug 2, 2010

0900 Coffee and pastries in the Chartroom
0930 AGM in the Club - Voting of Officers
1000 Boat hopping to check on "stuff" everyone has done.
1400 Wine tour - may include the Marine museum
1730 BYOB cocktail hour in the picnic area
1900 Catered dinner and Group Sail Presentations
Dinner approx $18.00 per head

0900 Coffee and pastries in the Chartroom
Departure before 1130 to avoid further dock charges
